Welcome to the India Association of Davis! IAD is a non-profit social and cultural organization established in Davis by people of Asian Indian origins, with membership open to all. The purposes of the India Association of Davis are to educate & organize social and Indian cultural activities.
India Association of Davis (IAD) was established in 1987 to represent the Asian Indian community in Davis. The most important objectives of the organization are to educate Davis and neighboring communities about the cultural heritage of India and promote cross-cultural understanding through various programs. IAD also provides our children with an opportunity to learn about our culture and share it with the local community. Over the years, IAD has hosted charitable, educational, community service, and cultural programs.
Please become an IAD member today. Make a difference in yours and your family's lives. Annual membership is valid from September 1st of one year to August 31st of the following year. Membership dues are very reasonable: family membership is only $50 annually. A discount rate of $25 is available for students/scholars and individual members.
Membership helps the association by keeping it active and moving forward. In appreciation, all members receive periodic newsletters and discounted tickets to all IAD events. Some events are even free for members! IAD also provides food and drinks at many events for no charge.
The India Association of Davis offers scholarships to outstanding high school seniors in our community. These scholarships honor students who demonstrate both academic excellence and a commitment to community involvement. For more information, please contact us.
